NP Paklenica – nearest national park, only 56 km car distance, heart of a mountain and part of UNESCO world heritage. Pearl of Velebit. If you like active vacation NP Paklenica is the right place for you. You can enjoy walking, hiking and climbing. And make some fantastic and memorable photos. Paklenica also has rich flora and fauna, more than 1000 plants and some of them endemic. For more adrenalin you can climb high rock or visit one of many caves in national park.
NP Kornati – the national park on the sea, 107 km distance from Pag is Croatian biggest archipelago of 89 islands with 238 km of coast. You can meet the island from the boat but also walk and dive nearby. The crystal clean sea is memory for life. And not less important, Kornati have many little authentic restaurants with tasty foods and wines.
NP Plitvice – 130 km car distance – when you are in Croatia, be sure to visit Croatian most visited and the biggest national park Plitvice only 130 km distance. Allow yourself to be breathless with that pure natural beauty. It is once in a lifetime experience. Plitvice is a complex of 16 lakes, three rivers – White, Black and river Korana and many waterfalls. The biggest one is Great fall, 78 meters long, equally beautiful during all seasons, even frozen in winter. Wooden paths enable visitors to meet all parts of Plitvice. Maybe if you are so lucky you can run into a brown bear, a symbol of a national park. Or rather maybe not 😊
NP Krka – Near Šibenik, 120 km distance is NP on river Krka. Krka river is the karst phenomenon, join of rock and water. You can get to know the national park by bike, walking or by boat. Every of those perspectives are different and beautiful. Enjoy the sounds and colors of many waterfalls. The most beautiful is Skradinski buk. In the middle of delta river Krka is a little island called Visovac with a monastery and church since 1445. Finally, where the river joins the sea there is adorable little Town called Skradin.

Maybe this is the reason why UFO came to Pag 12.000 years ago, to taste a chees and olive oil. We will never find out, but once you come, you always come back to Pag, so maybe once we will have a chance to ask them
